We started thinking about Newport Beach and I started thinking about cougars and *lightbulb* - A restaurant.</p> <p>We’ve been here <a href="http://skinnykidseating.tumblr.com/post/10363022884/a-restaurant">once before</a>, when my parents came up to visit. It’s a really nice place and great for taking guests. The food is great and the menu is just impressive enough without being too weird. It’s always full of people, but not overcrowded (as long as you make a reservation). The people-watching is the real draw, though. Table after table of awkward first dates and I would say most guys are around 24 years old and most women are in their early 40s. My dinner companions had the short ribs and the salmon and we all loved our food.
